What is fps?
FPS is "Frames per second". It determines the performance of games, with a higher rate producing smoother graphics. A low rate will appear laggy/chuggy/slow/choppy and can make a game unplayable as ingame actions take far too long to
complete with far too few frames. 30 frames per second is the minimum fps needed to avoid jerky motion.
What is GUID?
GUID is an unique number which helps PB to recognize players. Your guid is loosely based on the cdkey that was used to install the game on your computer. You can find your GUID by opening the console on any PB-enabled server and typing /pb_myguid.
How can I see my fps?
To see you fps you must write in console: /cg_drawfps 1
In the upper right corner of the screen will appear you fps.
How can I see my lag?
To see you lag write in console: /cg_lagometer 1
In the bottom right corner will appear a diagram showing your lag.
What is ping?
Ping measures a player's lag. Lag equals delay. The ping measures how long it takes for a packet of data to leave your computer, travel through the Internet, hit theirs, and return to you. Excessive lag can be annoying because it slows down game play.
How can I put colors in my name?
To put a color in your name u must type ^# (the number varies) before the letters that you want colored.
The codes for the colors are:
^1 = red
^2 = green
^3 = yellow
^4 = blue
^5 = cyan
^6 = purple
^7 = white
^8 this color depends on the team you are:
American maps = Dark Green
Russian maps = Dark red/marroon
British maps = Dark Blue
^9 = grey
^^0 = black
